Bio
A little bit about the band:
The Closers were born in 2014 from the clever mind of Ed Wilbers and the rhythm lab of conga master Jeremy Jeager. To match Ed’s powerhouse vocals, they plucked the yodeling guitar ace Rick Kinman straight out of the Northern Kentucky scene. In 2021, they leveled up again, adding drummer Freddie Almanza from Grand Rapids, Michigan, locking in the groove and completing this lineup of lovable musical outlaws—known by their loyal fans as the Feral Four.
Based in the Greater Cincinnati area, The Closers are a party band with a serious range—blending dance, country, classic rock, folk, and funk from the ’60s to now. Whether it’s a private party, a corporate blowout, a public event, or a full-on festival, they shape every set to fit the vibe and keep the crowd moving.
Whatever your style, whatever your scene, The Closers bring the fun, the fire, and the tunes to make it unforgettable.
